and their relationship to you (These are required in order to process your application):

Please limit references to only contain one family member.

Read the following carefully.

IPPRA  Policies

PROCESSING:  Please keep in mind that all of IPPRA’s members are volunteers with jobs and families.  Processing you application could take 2-3 weeks.

ADOPTION DONATIONS: Please keep in mind that all donations help IPPRA with the vetting and foster care for ALL our rescues. Adoption donations are $100 - $400.

CHOOSING HOMES: All adoption applications will be thoroughly reviewed; will need three personal references and a reference from your vet. All of your present pets must be up to date on shots, on heartworm prevention and altered. Homes with Toy Dog experience and fenced in yards are given first preference.

AGE OF DOGS:  A large percentage of our foster dogs are strays from shelters or puppy mills.  We will never know the true age for these dogs.  The ages listed in these circumstances reflects the age that our licensed Veterinarians estimate the dog's ages to be based on their best professional and experienced knowledge.   We cannot be held responsible if two or more different Vets have two or more different opinions.

CHILDREN: Due to their size, personality and legal liabilities, we are very cautious when adopting to a home with children. Unless you have a strong background with the breed, each application will be reviewed on case by case basis.

TRANSPORTS: IPPRA DOES NOT SHIP ITS DOGS.  Most of our fosters are located in Indiana or within 60 miles of each sister state border.  We try when we can to assist with transporting rescues to their new families but expect the families to help. We do adopt out-of-state, however, the primary responsibility of the transport is the adopters.

REMEMBER: Rescued animals are by no means perfect or show quality. They are usually from Puppy Mills, bad breeding, unwanted, abandoned, sick or old. Almost never will we get in a small young female. Rarely do we have a lot of background on our rescues.

FOOD:  Due to the Pet Food Recall of April 2007, we need to caution you that many commercial Pet Foods on the market were not safe and even resulted in the deaths of many dogs.  We do have recommendations of "safe foods" and would hope you would take these into consideration for your newly adopted dog.    Will you be willing to feed a Premium Food?

ALL of our rescues will be altered prior to adoptions with no exceptions. If you think a rescue is for you, meet our criteria and have a good loving home to offer, please email us at  ippra@ippra.us  with any questions.

I declare that the information I have provided in this application is complete and correct. I further declare that I am financially and physically able to care for a rescued dog, specifically, a Toy Dog. I understand that proper food and veterinarian care may be costly, and I am able and willing to meet the needs of my adoptive dog. I understand the requirement and grant permission for Home Checks at random both prior to and following adoption. I submit that if a Home Check reveals falsification or misrepresentation of any facts on my part, Indiana Petite Paws Rescue Angels, Inc. reserves the right to either refuse adoption or to nullify the adoption and reclaim said Toy Dog from my premises, without reimbursement of the adoption donation. I release Indiana Petite Paws Rescue Angels, Inc. from any liabilities I may incur from the adoption process.

I have read all the IPPRA Adoption Policies Above:

PLEASE keep a close eye on your email daily as that is our number one means of communication during the adoption application process.  If we do not hear back from you within 24 hours after contacting you, we will move on to the next available applicant.  Thanks so much.
